What we collect
When you fill out a form or book a session, Shoreline Athletics collects the information you provide: name, phone, email, location, player age/grade, position, experience level, how you found us, and your goals or notes. Bookings made through Calendly also include your scheduled session details. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers.
How it's used
Only to run training: replying to your inquiry, scheduling sessions, and keeping coaching records. Your information is never sold or shared with advertisers. It's stored securely and is accessible only to Coach Matt.
Your rights
- Access / download — request a full copy of the personal information we hold about you or your athlete.
- Deletion — request that we permanently delete your information from our records.
- Correction — ask us to fix anything that's wrong.
Requests are fulfilled personally within 30 days (usually much sooner), after verifying the request comes from the email address on file.
AI disclosure
In the interest of transparency (consistent with FTC guidance on truthful AI disclosure):
- Portions of this website — including its design, code, and some written copy — were created with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools, under the direction and review of Shoreline Athletics.
- No AI interacts with you on this site. There are no chatbots or automated agents — every form reply, email, and communication comes personally from Coach Matt.
- No automated decisions are made about you. AI is not used to evaluate, score, price, or profile visitors, clients, or athletes.
- Your personal information is never used to train AI models and is never shared with AI services.
Dispute resolution & arbitration
By using this website or booking training with Shoreline Athletics, you agree to the following:
- Talk to us first. If you have any dispute with Shoreline Athletics, contact us at shorelineathleticstraining@gmail.com and we'll try in good faith to resolve it informally within 30 days.
- Binding arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this website, training services, or these terms that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
- Small-claims exception. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court where permitted.
- Class-action waiver. Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis — not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Arbitration will take place in Lancaster County, South Carolina, or remotely by agreement.
If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
